You have been an excellent leader and coordinator for the Letter to the Editor Campaign and I really believe that you are a true asset to both the International Adhesions Society and The Australian Adhesions Support Group (http://www.bombobeach.com ). Even though bombo is an "aussie" site, that doesn't mean that it is for Aussies alone, we are a "friendly mob" in Australia and always welcome overseas visitors enthusiastically. We love to learn about other countries and their cultures.... I think part of our curiosity comes from being such a young nation ourselves. Australia only gained Federation in 1901 when the Australian Parliament was officially launched.
Even our government encourages us to be "ambassadors" of our country... Shane & I have been jumping through a LOT of hoops over the last few months... writing business plans, marketing, strategic and future funding projections - all of this so that we can apply for government funding for the website and to extend our work to reach all our fellow sufferers without access to the internet. One of the criteria to qualify for this funding includes the "potential" of ambassadorship if there is such a word *chuckle*.
So thank you for your help and support, and to everyone else.... please come and bask in the sun on bombobeach for a while.... we like to have a good "yarn". ("Yarn" is an aussie slang word meaning long chat or friendly discussion)
Love and Warm gentle hugs to you Anthea.... and to all of my IAS friends too.... Jo
