Dear Dave, I just wanted to let you know that I haven't talked with you yet, but I have read most of your messages here on the board. My name is Tami and I have been a member here for a couple of years now. I wanted to welcome you and also thank you, because you have become a wealth of information. I finally got put on the duragesic patches last week, as well as the suckers. My patches are 25ucg and I wear 2 at a time. The suckers are 1 every 12 hours. How often are you allowed to use them? I've been kinda nauseous all week, and sleepy. I am assuming its the new meds. I was on Oxycontin up to 160mg a day. But it wasn't doing anything for me. I am also still on Percoset. I also wanted to tell you how sorry I am about your puppy. I am an animal lover as well, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 aquariums of fish, and a new dwarf hamster. My 11 year old is an animal lover also, and she knows how her mom is about them too. She was wanted to be a Veternarian since she was 3. Hopefully someday her dream will come true. I think she wants her own zoo, where they all roam free and get along wonderfully together!! Any person who would injure or kill an innocent animal will someday get what is coming to them. Again I am so very sorry for your loss. You can email me anytime you just need to vent or talk. I hope are doing okay today and are as painfree as possible. I have decided to try and go to Germany and have surgery with Dr. Kruschinski. I was scheduled for surgery on Oct 21 and backed out of it. It would have been my 12th for adhesions. They have rescheduled me for Dec 9. The day after I was supposed to have had surgery my husband had to have a second knee operation in 3 weeks due to a staph infection. He's doing better now, gets his stitches out on Fri. Well enough about me for one day, take care Dave and keep in touch, Love your friend, Tami
