Hi Heather,

Its kind of a double edge sword really. After my lapriscopy, I was pain free for about a year. but then the adhesions came back. And when they do come back they are worse. For the past 10 months now I have been in terrible pain, running from doctor to doctor to try to find someone to do the lapriscopy, just so i would have one year pain free. But after talking to MANY doctors, they finally convinced me, and this place here did too...That the adhesions will continue to get worse and worse, until I dont even have that year anymore. some people here are in pain again after 3 days of surgery.

Our,(adhesion sufferers), best bet is to wait until the spraygel is approved for here in the states, or try to arrange to have surgery in UK, Germany or Australia where it is available now.

I dont want to tell you yes or no to have it hun. That is something you have to ask yourself whether the pain is sooo bad you cant deal with it anymore, and all of your options have been tried without success. But my honest opinion is no I wouldnt do it unless you had a good protective barrier used as in the Spraygel.

I hope I answered your question. Please feel free to email anything

Huggggz Lori
