Karla,
Good idea. The person told me that the stories needs to have their own
letterhead on each one--even
tho it is their name...I think Synechion should just send me a release--then
no one would be worried.

Karen,
I have a thought here. Since someone obviously is concerned about the
legalities of your taking the stories off the quilt even though you have
permission, I suggest that you have the ARD victims take their own story
from the quilt (cut and paste) and email it to you with their permission.
This way you are taking nothing that you have no right to take. Print up
each email and save a copy of the authorization along with the story. In
this way you have covered your behind. At the same time, when we do our
cutting and pasting of our own stories we should be saving a copy of the
story ourselves.
I don't know why this has become an issue now. There have been so many
times that we have been asked for permission to send our stories for
different projects. What is the difference? If this continues to be a
problem I suggest that perhaps you ask Jo if she would have any problems
with allowing people to do the same thing with their stories that are posted
on her website. This is such a good idea....don't let this get you down.--
God Bless!
Karla
