Why are you anonymous?

Let's ask yet another question .. why do you remain anonymous and not signing your email? Yes, people are quick to judge, especially if the facts haven't been clearly established.

If a person has the right to put their story on this website, with them being the only operative in turn to be able to delete/edit their story, then they have ownership of their own story. Nobody else, and unless it is stated that peoples personal stories are now the property of the company, then, and only then is there a valid argument.

I do suggest, that perhaps the original 'anonymous' who pointed this discrepancy out does have something to do with the IAS, of course that can't be proven in any way shape or form. But I do find it cowardly to not sign an email that you feel you have the force and direction to write.

Back to the issue at hand. Any story published with the writers permission (eg: you send it into the magazine) have to clarify said 'True life' story by some form of contact. Of course, if you receive a cheque for that story, or something in lieu of, they have the copyright factor, but they do not OWN the story. You only have to read women's magazines to see the die hards who send their story into every magazine, slightly reworded.. it's still their story.

Perhaps someone would like to clarify the rules and conditions? perhaps the 'copyright' rules apply only to research material and David's own workings? Perhaps some are taking the 'rules' too the extreme? Perhaps somebody just wants to cause some angst ??
