"DJ," I understand what you are going through. I had the small bowel series, and it was o.k. But I am having increasing constipation, and pain, as well as having a bad time passing even loose stool. Today, I went to the gastro, and he sent me to radiology when I told him I am having increasing problems. He said the xrays didn't show much stool, at all. He let me look at the films. But, now I have something else to be upset about. He said there's no blockage, but that he thinks the rectum may be tipped, due to my hyst. Even the strong laxative I took didn't do much. Yes, if your insides are jumbled together from adhesions, it can feel like a mass. I am also 46. Why was your hyst done? You were so young. Millie.
