Dear Helen and Clara:

Right before all this started I was diagnosed with a bad case of Pelvic Inflamatory Disease along with a UTI. After that was all cleared up. I now have these pains. I had pain and pressure with the PID, but the pain now is worses than that and now localized to the upper abdominal cavity. I feel extremely bloated after I eat then comes the sharp crampy pains under the right rib cage, along with some chest pain depending on how bad the right upper quad. pain is. When it is really bad I have to go to ER. I work in an ER at the registration clerk, so it has to be bad for me to go in to see the people I work with. They know what I am going thru and know that I work thru most of the pain and only when it is really bad do I end up there. That has happened 3 times. Now I have an appt. tomarrow with a gastro. Scared, not knowing what to ask or what to expect. I see everyone stories and some are so simular and the doctors know nothing. I don't want to be on pain killers and I don't want to feel like ORCA anymore. I have lost 20 lbs. since June. But, my belly hasn't lost any weight. Oh, well at least I lost some. Eating right is hard, because we never know when we can grab a bite to eat. If the ER is busy than the patients come first. Then we can take a break. So, we munch quite a bit just to keep us going on anything from a candy bar to carrots. I guess we will see what the doctor said. I hope you read this before I go, my appt. is at 1:00 EST. I will check them around 11.00 to see if you have. Thanks for writing back. And, yes the doctor also thinks I have some endo. around my left ovary and uterus.

Wish you both well, Jackie
