Re: Doctors, who are very skilled and experienced in adhesiolysis

Dear Katy, Please see the surgeons advertised on this site. Contact them! After much of my own ( 2 year) research I know your best chances lie with but a handful of surgeons in this whole wide world. Many docs will preform an adhesiolysis but there lies the vicious cycle that becomes quite evident after reading a few stories on the quilt. The IAS does so much behind the scenes that people do not know about. Each surgeon allowed to advertise on this site has been closely scrutinised by the IAS....people from the IAS actually go and watch them preform surgeries and make sure they adhere ( joke, sorry) to the highest of standards. Though the IAS can not endorse them or any other barrier or treatment,in any way, these doctors advertise here for a reason. I was lucky enough to have surgery with one of them and I have regained lost function and am adhesion free. I was also lucky enough to have spray gel as a barrier. I got my life back which I never expected and a relief I never would have hoped for. God bless and you take care and educate yourself as much as you can to make the best, most informed discission you can. A friends recomendation is nice but this can be a life altering choice that should not be entered lightly. hang on! Love, Dawn >
