pelvic adhesions/IVF/pregnancy

I am debating whether to have a lap for adhesions brought on by previous
ovarian cyst rupture/emergency laparotomy to try to aid conception, or
if I should go straight to IVF. My age is a factor--37. Anyone have
any info or suggestions on 1) what I should ask my potential surgeon 2)
how adhesions affect pregnancy 3) if adhesions affect IVF and 4) the
chances of improving the situation. Adhesions feel like they are on
remaining ovary, and frontal pelvic wall, although they do not seem to
be affecting uterus or fallopian tube (HSG test all clear). Thank you.
