You know what Sue; I have read in many places that if you can keep moving before the adhesions really take hold that your chances are much better.?. The only thing is adhesions start before 7 days post op. I am really not sure what to do... 1 month ago I was running about 3 miles 5 days per week. And now I do good just to walk the dog. I have found that nutrition drinks keep the blood sugar up and they " pass through" easily. Take care, Kelly Marlow

Kelly, I have real pets, and they are the ones that suffer because "mammy" is having a bad day! poor things! mY kids is grown. I wish you luck, and I hear in your "vioce" the frustration!

My goals was to lose weight after surgery in March, I wonder if adhesions mutiply if you stretch and rip lose an already existing adhesion "bed"?

some times I think they do!

I will say again, if NOTHING is eaten for several hours I am in no pain, dizzy from low blood sugar, so it is a trade off.

sometimes I feel like an old lady swapping my pain is worse then your pain, and I only want to help others see that they are not crazy, and that many do understand!

Blessings, Sue R in Ohio
