Dear Nevart, Welcome, I'm sorry you are feeling such pain. Yes, its possible that adhesions can form within the week after surgery. Its really hard to diagnose adhesions. They can form anywhere in your abdomen even if its not specifically where you had your incision. Please take the time to explore all the information here and at other adhesions sites. There is a lot here. Read past emails, the quilt stories, etc. Enter words into search and go from there, also. I'm sorry, I'm not a doctor, but its also true that lots of doctors know nothing much about adhesions. You even have to be careful about doctors who seem to know a lot about adhesions. Unless they are an adhesion specialist, most of them wind up doing more damage to you while they are trying to help. Adhesions are painful and tricky. They are hard to get rid of. Sorry to be so negative. Good luck. We're here for you and will try to answer questions as we are able. With kindest regards, Sally Grigg
