Thank you for your replies. LAVH/BSO stands for laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingoopherectomy, or in plain english, uterus and both tubes and ovaries removed. I've been reading the stories in the quilt..there are so many!! It's good to know that I'm not alone feeling like this, but on the other hand, it's a shame that so many others are suffering. I had my ultrasound on friday, and as usual the tech was less than forthcoming with information. I'll have to wait until Tuesday for the results. She did say that it is unlikely that adhesions would show on the scan. So, now what? Cat scan? I can't just let it drop and go on like this. I'm only 41, and I have a family to take care of and a business to run. I'm dealing with the normal "no hormone" nonsense that is to be expected with this surgery, so having this pain too is just too much to accept.
