Hello everyone,
What has this board come to?? It is supposted to be a place to learn, a
place to share hope and experiences, make new friends, a place to come
and be happy that you are not alone... It has become an unwelcoming
place, where you hear the same things over and over. People don't
understand that we don't all think alike, and our realities are
different. What is good for one, may not be good for another... everyone
has the right to make their own decisions as to what is right for
them... we need to educate them first, give them the info they need to
make an informed decision, and not push what and how we feel on others!!
I used to be a very loyal member of this board, but lately I've had some
major problems with what has been happening here...so I don't check in
as much as I used to sorry to say...lately things have gotten
particuliarly nasty, and I felt the need to tell my side of things. I
have been told my last post, supporting Robin, and letting everyone know
that everyone that supports DR. Kruschinski does not think the same as
others...they tell me it sounds like I no longer support and advocate
Dr. Kruschinski...NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH !!! I support
him and everything he has to offer the ARD patient 100%!! Nothing and no
one is 100% effective, especially when it comes to ARD !!!
I would like to start by saying that(this is all MY opinion) given the
options available to the ARD patient today, to me it is a no brainer
when it comes to who offers the best chance at becoming adhesion free!
Dr. Kruschinski and his gasless approach, in my opinion is THE VERY
BEST WAY TO GO !!! CO2 IS a factor in adhesion formation, whether it's
alittle or alot, it doesn't matter to me...I wanted to have the very
best chance of ridding myself of adhesions, and to me it makes all the
sense in the world to take whatever help, whatever added pluses I could
get when I had my surgery ! I will ALWAYS support and direct patients to
DR. Kruschinski he is the best, and has the highest success rate, that
speaks for itself...We need all the help we can get !! That being said,
I do understand that everyone is different, realities are different, for
many money is a big issue, not everyone can make the journey to see the
great and wonderful Dr. Kruschinski...and I respect that(i may not
agree, but it's not for me to decide)everyone must make their own
decision, based on their reality!!
I have debated long and hard about whether or not I should tell my side
of things... I know many here on this board are throughly sick of
hearing that DR. Kruschinski is the only way to go, I know I'm tired of
the repeativness...and I'm deathly afraid that some will take my story
the wrong way and think what Dr. K. offers won't help them...that is
SO NOT TRUE!!
I was the first to go to see DR. Kruschinski, that was almost a year
ago...I came home adhesion free!!I continue to have some pretty major
problems, I feel alot the same as before...upper abdominal pain that
comes in waves, and constant(24/7) pelvic pain that can get completely
out of control. I am back on pain meds... I think one of the hardest
things for me right now is dealing with the idiot doctors here in the
states...I've gone thru being told it's chronic pancreatitis, so I went
to a specialist at Cleveland Clinic, tons more tests, and now I have 2
doctors telling me my adhesions are back,(they couldn't get the
colonoscopy in but 6 inches) one(the specialist) tells me I don't have
pancreatitis of any kind, not to let anyone screw around with my
pancreas, and he thinks I have diverticulosis. I have changed my diet
numerous times depending on the diagnosis, nothing so far has helped...
Do I think my adhesions are back?? That is the million dollar
question... I don't know... I did have a 3rd look last fall. only one
adhesion(small) was found...I can't honestly say I think they are back,
but I can't say for sure they are not!!I know pain can remain after the
cause is gone...something about the nerve pathways are so strong that
they continue to fire...this is where I am now...persueing that
possibility...I'm working with pain management, and am trying celiac
plexus blocks to get some relief, although these blocks help my upper ab
pain, it doesn't touch the pelvic pain...bummer!!!
I know of many patients that I've helped get to Dr. Kruschinski are
completely free of pain from adhesions and are off all meds...BUT I also
know of patients that are still having troubles like me...NOTHING IS
PERFECT 100% of the time!!
I have heard from patients themselves that they think they MAY have
adhesions back, but are not honest and up-front about it. That really
bothers me..the patients that I've helped, I've told that this is not
guaranteed that they will be pain free... this all is so new, nobody
knows what the long term results will be..but I want to stress that the
combination Dr.K offers is the best in my opinion. Dr Korell is highly
skilled in adhesiolysis and uses spraygel too. He is considered one of
the world's experts, and people have the right to seek his help and
report their successes without being afraid of the consequenses!!
So what I'm trying to say here is I support Dr Kruschinski and his
skills, always will. And I support other patients of his that want to
shout it from the rooftops, but there seems to be a right way and a
wrong way to do this...I sincerely hope others will be willing to hear
what we have to say about our experience with Dr. Kruschinski, and
won't tone us out because they think they've heard it all... what you
are hearing is from one or two patients, we don't all think the same!!
Now that I have told my side, I hope the others I've talked with about
this mess will be willing to speak up and tell us how they feel and
their experiencesuch as it is..please we need to be objective and let
everyone know exactly what is happening to ALL of us!!
At the risk of sounding repeatitve I DO Support Dr. Kruschinski, always
will, I'm more than happy to tell of my experience to anyone that wants
to know.I will continue to help others to seek his help, HE IS THE
BEST!!(my opinion...LOL!)but I will do it in my own way, as I see fit !
Anyone that would like to hear more, or ask questions please feel free
to contact me anytime !!
Well that's my 2 cents...
Lisa
