HI LUCY,
I'M NOT SURE WHAT YOUR ORIGINAL POST WAS BUT I'LL TRY TO ANSWER ANY
QUESTIONS.
I'VE SUFFERED WITH ADHESIONS FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND THEY CAN BECOME
UNBEARABLE. THE ADHESIONS CAN "WRAP" AROUND THE INTESTINES CAUSING PAIN FROM
PULLING AND STRETCHING. THEY CAN MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO EAT AND THEY CAN CAUSE
WITH BOWEL MOVEMENTS. I HAVE TO USE A LAXATIVE ONCE A WEEK TO GO. THIS CAN
CAUSE SEVERE PAIN IN THE STOMACH REGION.
AND, WE ALL KNOW THAT REMOVING THE ADHESIONS BY SURGERY IS NOT ALWAYS THE
ANSWER-SURGERY DOES CAUSE NEW ADHESIONS. HAVE YOU TALKED THAT OVER WITH YOUR
DOCTOR OR SURGEON?
PAIN MEDICINE DOES HELP BUT DOCTORS ARE RELUCTANT TO PRESCRIBE MEDICNE FOR
ADHESIONS. AND WHEN YOU DO TAKE MEDICINE FOR PAIN THEY SOMETIMES CAN CAUSE
STOMACH UPSET AND CAUSE CONSTIPATION. IT SEEMS TO BE A NEVER ENDING BATTLE
WITH ADHESIONS, DOESN'T IT?
