Hi there! My name is Tammy. I am a 33 year old female who has a simular story. When I was 21 yrs old I had my first and only child. I had him vaginal and had some complications but not life threatening. My husband and I decided to we wanted to wait and go on birth control. I couldn't take the pill so we decided to use the IUD route. I regret that decision everyday in my life now. When the IUD was inserted (now we know) it was inserted to forcefully and perferated through my uterus wall. I now have severe adhesion troubles and two years ago I had a total hysterectomy. It took 9 surgeries to get to this point. I had my surgery at the Mayo Clinic in 2001. I will only go to the best. Now I am facing possible surgery again. I have a cyst (do not know where it is attached yet)in my right side of my abdomin. I am very frusturated I was hoping I didn't have to deal with this anymore. I have an appointment at the Mayo Clinic on Friday, November 28th. Email me with any advice.
