Can 1 Adhesion lead to more?

No one should not cause others to come, unless it causes injury to something else. HOWEVER, your laparoscopy and the gas used can cause more....

.....My question is....Can one adhesion cause others to develop? I worry as I have this one still in my pelvis and I fear it will cause more to develop.
