I am 43 yrs. old. I have been having this problem
for over 3 yrs. My right ureter has bands of adhesions.
This has also caused multiple kidney stones. It took
over 9 months to be diagnosed, first through a cystoscopy
then with surgery. My last surgery was in Jan. 03.
My doctor made a large incision on the right side, cleaned
out the adhesions and wrapped fat and parts of my omentum
around my ureter. There was a long and painful recovery
process. I felt good for about 4 months! Then, the pain
slowly returned. I am now on MS Contin and Vicodin and
I am NOT pain free. I am now considering an implanted
pain pump.
I have 3 children, my quality of life is miserable.
If anyone can help me, I would certainly appreciate it!
