I had my appendix removed when I was 12. I had my daughter at 26. A few months after I had my daughter I started having the pain right before a bowel movement. It felt as if it was hitting something as it moved thru my colon. I also had severe pain right under my breast sitting in any position was uncomfortable. My doctor did laproscopic surgery and found numerous adhesions inside my entire abdominal cavity bounding my right ovary, uterous and colon. She had to do another surgery to remove my ovary and uterous and remove the adhesions. After the surgery she told me they could return. It has been six years now and I have started to have the pain right before a BM again. It is nothing like before, but it is scary have to think about the possibility of another surgery in the future.
