Adhesions I can't stand any more surgery!!!!

It all started when I had 2 C-sections ,hysterectomy and gallbladder
removed.
I have been admitted to the emergency room once to twice a month with
small bowel blockage.
In Oct 2003 I was rushed to the emergency room with a swollen stomach
and in awful pain. The Emergency Dr said we will operate in 2 hours and
that was it.
I was released and all was fine for 3 months and now Im back in the
emergency rooms again with severe stomach pain and blockage but I won't
let them cut me open again unless it is life or death.
My Dr says it will keep going on until I have another operation but that
will just cause more adhesions. I am 58 year old woman that does not do
well with operations and recovery is months for me.
Has anyone heard of a cure for this? Any Doctors in Oregon that
specialize in Adhesions?
