Hey Karyn;
You have definitely got the right idea now. Had I known back then what I
know now, I never would have had a hysterectomy done. I would have rather
had the adhesions adhere to my uterus again, then my bowels and god knows
what else they are adhered to now.
I totally understand about your endometrioma. It's really bad that they
cannot do this laprascopically, because this would reduce your risk of
considerable more adhesions. I have had an ovarian torsion before, and I'll
tell you what, I have never experienced so much pain in my life!! Not even
all night labor to have my son was that bad....It is the worst and something
you will definitely want to avoid.
A battle plan is what it takes unfortunately. This is your life, or the
life you will be leading, that is dependant on your next step. It stinks,
but adhesion sufferers know, it's a must.
We wish you all the best, and please let us know what happens with the
oncologist on 10/1. Feel free to email anytime; jlrealtor@charter.net
Sincerely,
Janine
