adhesions again/considering weight loss surgery

Hi,
I have had adhesion surgery twice. The first time the doc had to cut
big due to the size of the problem. That was Oct. of 2002. The second
time was this past August and it was done laparoscopiclly. The
adhesions had returned to the left side of my lower pelvic area and were
attached to my colon. Well, I have to say that I did feel better for
about 2 months but now have the excact pain and pulling sensation from
my belly button to my lower groin area. My question is, how many times
can this surgery be done? Will I have to have this done yearly to have
pain releif? Also, I am considering having bariatric surgery for weight
loss and don't know if this will complicate things? Anyone out there
that has had bariatric surgery with a history of prior adhesions? Any
response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.M
