My bowels are also encased in scar tissue. There is pain, but we go on.

Exercise is helpful, esp. walking and stretching. Sometimes a warm water enema helps me. Stay away from surgery, it'll just make it worse. Maybe you'll feel better for a few weeks, but it'll be worse in a few months. I know.
