adhesions

I had surgery in november of last year and I started
having pain almost as soon as the two month recovery
period was up. I did ask my surgeon and he said it
was normal . I am still having a lot of pain and I
found out it was adhesions again. that was what
the surgery was for.
there has to be a way to prevent them . I stay
in a lot of pain and have trouble with bowel movements.
My gastroligist suggested surgery again but I don't
think I can do it.
Any good advice would be helpful.
