You are not freak of nature - weight gain comes with this as well. I have gained 20lbs - but my body hasn't changed in size except my stomach which looks like I am 6mos pregnant. The last time this happened it was followed by a rapid loss in 13 weeks of 53lbs - because its the adhesions growing that created the 'pregnant' look but they then completely blocked my bowels.
