It really depends where in life you are. Don't feel like you HAVE to
have a hystorectomy. If you dont want one, you dont have to have one.
Personally, I would not see a doc who says that a hysto is necessary. It
usually means that he doesnt know enough about adhesions. A hysto does
not mean that the adhesions will not come back. Even if they remove
your reproductive system, the chances of adhesions coming back are the
same.
I just had a laparoscopy because my ovary was connected to my uterus &
my uterus was being mishapped because of all the adheiosn. You can get
relief by removing just the adheiosn.
