infertility and adhesions

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has any info on adhesions and infertility.
It's been 15 months now of trying for my first baby and so far the only
thing the Dr. can find is that my uterus is laterally displaced to the
right (seen on an abdominal ultrasound). I am getting a laparoscopy in
a few days and I suspect that they may find some sort of adhesion on the
right side. I constantly feel a slight pulling to my lower right
abdomen. I wouldn't call it pain, but I'm definitely aware of it. My
question is: Could this be the cause of infertility? If so, what could
cause this? The only thing I can think is that I got extremely sick
during a trip to south east Asia about 6 years ago that left my stomach
irritated for about 8 months after. Any info or input that anyone has
would be greatly appreciated!
