elevated liver enzymes test (GGT)

HI everyone,
Happy new Year to you ,
I went to the doctor re suspect partail obstruction and he confirmed
that this was most likley the case. He is keeping a close eye on me at
the moment and he took routine bloods as well. I got a phone call to
come back and see him and he advised me that my liver tests had come
back and I had an elevated GGT level . I am now having weekly blood
tests so moniter the level.
I do not drink much alochol and am and on no meds at present so it
should not be elevated as high as it is.
I have a lot of surgery in this area and and wondering of anyone else
has had similar issues witn liver tests. Can adhesions affect the liver
in this way ??
