Hypogastric Plexus Block

Has anyone ever had a Hypogastric Plexus Blaock? My pain dr mentioned it
as a possibility for relieving/minimizing pelvic and abdominal pain.
I've read severa studies where it was used for ovarian and testicular
cancers and the results were very good. It helped people reduce the
amount of narcotics they were taking - not stop, but reduce.
Has anyone had this done? It sounds good but is very expensive and I
don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.
