Hi Dalene,
My name is Eileen, and I wrote my story here many years ago. I have had
many surgeries caused by adhesions organ extrangulation . Now, again my
intestine is wrapped with adhesions and have parcial bowel obstruccion
to the point where I can't eat. I was having surgery every year and I
haven't had surgery now for 4 years because I stoped eating solid foods.
I drink Ensure, gelating, yogurt, clear liquid soups, etc. I also
walked every morning and it helped me. I had very little pain unless I
picked up or pull an heavy object or bend to pick something. But for
the last year I began eating very small amounts of food once a day cause
you get to a point where you get tired of living only on liquid foods
and now I'm back again with a lot of adhesion pain, nauseas, stomach
blotted, gases, etc, etc. It did helped me specially stopping another
surgery. I understand you 100%, I know how it feels and how desperate
it is. The only rare thing is that in these past 4 years without
surgery a small hole (size of a pin head)in my stomach would open and
small drops of blood would come out. This has happend 6 or 7 times.
Doctors are stund cause they can't figure out why? I feel like if it was
the adhesions pushing inside out...crazy, right? Anyway friend, talk to
a doctor before you stop eating food cause of other health issues. I
live in Puerto Rico and there is no specialist on Adhesions. God bless.
