I have been reading through the adhesion message boards and wonder if you
can answer a few questions for me. Is Dr. Reich doing surgery anywhere? Is
there a website or place I can research Dr. Korell? Name of hospital? I have
found Dr. K's website.
My decision about having the surgery is finally made after 2 years of
thinking about it. Cost & fear are the big obstacles for me. This will be a
1 time chance for some quality of life as I do not think I will be able to
ever afford to go a second time.
I've had multiple abdominal surgeries, multiple bowel resections, bowel
obstructions, nasty complications from surgery, survive on pain meds. My GI
MD spent an hour with me this week encouraging me to go rather than continue
with the frequent partial small bowel obstructions.
