I don't believe that they have had very many good results from Seprafilm.  Did you type it in the "search?"  It seems that I have read post's from people that said it did not work. There is a spray gel being used but only in Germany.  I had it as well as other patients.  Some say they are doing good and others are not.

I had an inguinal hernia repair done in April 2007.  I didn't have any pain from this for about 10 days and then gradually, I started to have more and more discomfort in the groin.  Then on Aug.9th, I had a diagnostic laproscopy and the doctor discovered adhesions.  Part of the mesh was stuck to the intestines.  He removed or took down the adhesions.  My surgeon had said there is something called Seprafilm that can eliminate them but it is hard to do laproscopically.  Can someone tell me if going back in and taking down these adhesions and using Seprafilm will work? Is there a hernia doctor that has a lot of experience using Seprafilm?
