Hi Alta,   I had the same problem.  I had one ovary removed then a total hysterectomy including the other ovary, then about 4 months later, was in pain and thought I must be crazy.  Went to my Dr's who sent me to the hospital, and they did a CT which showed an Ovary with a cyst on it.  I thought the Doc's had the wrong person!!  It is called ovarian remnant syndrome -  I had had stage 4 endomitriosis and some how the dr's had left part of my ovary behind and it redeveloped with a cyst.  I cannot ever have an estrogen replacement medication because the fear is that it will stimulate the Endo and cause more problems.  So, if you are on an estrogen replacement med, I would talk to your Dr. about stopping that .  I am so sorry you have to go through it again, will they be doing surgery??  Good luck!!   Jenny Kummer ps. feel free to email me if you would like!! kummer_jennifer1@hotmail.com
