I did try Lyrica, and Gabapentin. The Dr's. thought that maybe I had nerve problems. I do not have fibromyalgia. My side efffects were flu like symptoms, aching, no energy, felt completely drained. I did not care for it, so I went off of it. Has anyone ever had a "Celious Plexis Block"? I have had intercostal nerve blocks, that only caused more pain and problems. My Gastro wants me to try it next, and I am so leary of any more nerve blocks. Thanks, Cheryl D.

I did and the only thing it did was cause me to gain weight. The pain doc I went to said he wanted it to work on me so he could write a paper.

Hope that helps Alta

I was wondering if anyone without Fibromyalgia has tried Lyrica. I have recently started taking 100 mg of Lyrica at night along with Cymbalta 60 mg. I have adhesions, but not Fibromyalgia. I wanted to know what the first few weeks were like for anyone taking Lyrica & if it worked for those who do not have Fibromyalgia. I know it helps for patients with Fibromyalgia, but what about those of us who just have the pleasure of adhesion pain?

Thanx,
