venting is why we have this web site! Everyone has the right to choose pain meds or not. Quality of life, as one fellow suffer stated, is the right to use pain meds and have a life. No one should pass judgement on anyone who suffers from chronic pain as we all do. I HATE the fact that I have to take the pain meds that I do. I feel like a junkie at times. However, the meds allow me to enjoy my family and have a life. There are those horrific day, like yesterday and today, when the pain is so bad it SUCKS. I never missed any of my sons baseball games in 13 years until this horrible crap started. We have continue to fight and do our best to bring awareness so hopefully the next generation, our kids, will be treated with some compassion. Thank goodness for this site. We always know we have each other to vent and find things other hear and use to help them. Myself, oxycontin, voltaren, 800 ibuprofen, for the pain, cytotec helps me stay somewhat regular with the restroom. I am not sure what cytotec is used for but the side effect helps with going to the restroom. If you have had a hysterectomy you should ask your GI doc about the med. I was given by a GI specialist at UCLA in westwood. It has helped me. I know Amitiza helps some, however unfortunately I suffered from some of the less common side effects and was not able to use it. My throat started to swell shut. Not good side effect, lol. Stay strong everyone and just keep fighting and remember we always have each other even if we may disagree. Love to all (I pray tomorrow may be a better day. At least I hope to be able to walk and sit without the back pain.)

IF TREATMENT CAN BE GIVEN ACROSS THE SEA AND NOT HERE, ARE WE LESSER PEOPLE. NOT EVEN A DOG WOULD BE TREATED LIKE THIS. AT ONE TIME IF YOU GOT CANCER OR AIDS, VERY LITTLE HELP WAS GIVEN BUT NOW THEIRS HELP COMING FROM ALL SIDES, WHICH IS GOOD NOW ITS OUR TURN WE NEED THE HELP BADLY,JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT SEE IT DOES NOT MEAN IT NOT THERE, VERY DAY LIKE YOU OUT THERE I HAVE PAIN AND DISCOMFORT IN ONE WAY, ITS NOT A LIFE ,ITS HELL IN ITS BEST FORM SORRY TO VENT---IT JUST MAKES ME MAD----LOU On Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 11:17 PM, Kris <krisl1204@yahoo.com> wrote: > At Wed, 11 Mar 2009, Geri wrote:

find the strength to WE HAVErealize that we deserve to be taken care of, too.I'm in no way trying to judge anyone. I just knowthat we deserve to be treated fairly for what we hae to cope with without judgement. Unfortunately, we have to work harder than most of those suffering with an easily diagnosed condition that doctors can address in 10 minutes with a simple rx. We have to work alot harder to substantiate what we're dealing with and what we've already tried. i know there is help out there and i just want all my fellow sufferers to keeppushing for the relief they need and deserve!
