The side affects were awful, but i stuck with it for a year. By that point they had upped my dosage to 230mg 3x a day! Plus Cymbalta 2x a day.
At that point, i began "acting" out in my sleep and at one point my husband woke up to me on top of him CHOKING him!
I of course remember nothing.
I went off and of course the pain and burning returned. So I thought after a year of not being on it perhaps a low dose would work.
The low dose did nothing but make me gain weight, AGAIN...and the sleep symptoms returned.
Personally, I'd rather be in pain than to risk hurting myself or someone else and having no knowledge of what's happening.
