Linda, I too, had heard that story about John Wayne but I checked it out on Snopes.com a couple of years ago and it wasn't true. BUT... the one about Elvis Presley's colon being impacted and distended is said to be true. And we all know he ate like crap!

Food for thought, that's for sure.
