Any thoughts on this?

A friend of mine had a hysterectomy 5 years ago because of endometriosis. It wasn't severe, she said her GYN just said that it would "cure" her endo problems. Of course it didn't.

Anyhow, in February of this year she had her gallbladder removed and during the surgery the surgeon noticed that she had alot of adhesions in the pelvic area and he made the choice to lysis/remove them. She was told of this decision the next day but thought nothing of it.

Approximately a month ago she began to have severe bladder and rectal problems. I mean SEVERE. She had a coughing fit and something "popped out". Turns out it was her bladder. She went to see a Uro/Gynocologist last week in another city and he had to call in another specialist during the exam. It appears that the adhesions she had were the only thing holding up her bladder, intestines and rectum. Everything has fallen into the pelvic floor and her rectum is collapsing in on itself. She's having major surgery on May 20th and they have no idea if it will be a success or not.

Has anyone here experienced this or even heard of it? Does anyone have any advice I can offer her?

Thanks so much, Katie
