The adhesion barrier my Dr. used was Seprafilm. I believe he used it
on my intestines and between my bladder and abdominal wall. It had been
almost 6 months and the only problem I am having is pain and pulling in
my back. My last two laparotomies were only 6 months apart (both for
dense adhesions). I also had intrauterine adhesions which required the
hysterectomy. I feel the adhesion barrier has slowed down the formation
of my adhesions. At this stage of the game I am thankful for anything
to combat this surgical nightmare!!! Good luck to all. Sherry
