Hi Peggy:
Is it possible you could have a low grade pelvic infection? They entered
the pelvis so it could happen. I know after my second lap I did not
feel very well-i felt like everyone in the OR had taken turns stomping
on my abdomen. I was also very bruised (on the outside) and tender
inside. I don't know if I had a temp, I don't think so but I guess it
could have been low grade and I might not have realized. I do remember
them taking my temp at my 2 week post op visit at the surgeon, so it was
probably all right. But at that time I was still very sore and tender
and still was at my pcp about 2 weeks later. I thought about the
possibility of an infection but they said it was because I was still
healing.
Good luck with the tests and let us know if they show anything.
