Hi Helen:
I get all of these, maybe not quite as bad as my problem seems to be only on the right side. Even though the adhesions are on the left side, they pulled the sigmoid colon over to the right. It could also be that many disorders of the pelvis refer pain to the right side and it is referred pain I am feeling. Anyway, burning, prickling, itching (both inside which of course I can't do anything about and on the outside) Sometimes my insides (again the right side) feel like they're rubbed raw. I'm assuming this is all inflammation and it did get much better when I took the 600 mg ibuprofen tid. I have to ask how long I can continue taking this on a regular basis. I also get tightening feelings, much like the Braxton Hicks contractions of pregnancy. You wouldn't believe the weird looks you get describing them like that.
