Jo Ann

I had my hysterectomy at 35 because of adenomyosis and adhesions. My uterus had inverted and grown into my abdominal wall. I have been pain free in that area for two years now, however, the adhesions that came from a severe infection and affected my bowels are back and the pain in the intestinal area is as bad if not worse than ever. I would think that if your pain is from fibroid tumors you would get relief with a hysterectomy but if the pain is from adhesions and if you have endo, I'm not so sure. Good luck with your decision. I hope all works out for you. Ginny
