Dear Jo I too am a suffer of pelvic pain and have been since a ruptured ectopic pregnancy nearly 4 yrs ago. A year later I was back in hospital having a hysterectomy iwas 27. They were unable to remove my cervix because it was adhered to my bladder. They left my right ovary because of my age. however, I'm am scheduled for an oophorectomy on the 27th July because of adhesion. My advise is research, research and more research because a hysterectomy brings about added problems as well as further adhesions, at least that has happened in my case. I should also point out I had also had 3 c/sections which account for the adhesions on cervix bladder. They are unable to do anything regarding these adhesions through fear of damage to the bladder, so think carefully and research as much as you can, and Don't be rushed in to making a decision. I'm sure the other people on this list will share their experiences with you, bearing in mind we are all individuals and no two people will have the same outcome. Good luck and best wishes Sandie
