Rachel,

I completely understand. I am 25 and my doctor discovered that my ovaries were attached to my intestines by adhesions. Basically my rectum is adhered completely to my uterus and my small intestines are covered with adhesions. At first he was prepared to go through with the surgery but suddenly he chickened out on me. Right now I am considering if I should go to Dr. Perloe. He an RE that has more experience. I listened to a onhealth.com medical interview he did and he was very, very knowledgeable about this disease.

Adhesions are the worst because I can't predict nor can I handle the pain. I get nauseated at most smells, have pain after eating, intermittent constipation and now vomiting. The pain is this hot white piercing feeling from front to back. Its hard for people to understand. The best way to describe it to them is to get the strongest duct tape, tape it to their legs after they make an open wound on it and try to walk around all day. The tugging and pulling is horrible. I am not easy to vomit and it scares me that this might be a recurrent thing.

Feel free to contact me at rondamoore@hotmail.com. Good luck!!

Sharonda
