The doctor did get back to me on Friday. He even said that he would fit me into his schedule on Monday (tomorrow) so that we could discuss the surgery and answer any questions that I have about everything. He also said that he would try and schedule the surgery for the week of the 6th so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. Can you believe this! It sounds to good to be true. When I called my GI to tell him he said that he already spoke to the surgeon about me again. I told him how much I appreciate him following through. My mom is going with me tommorow to the doctor to wait with me. Sometimes I think she is more nervous than I am. I have a feeling that any of you that are parents can relate. I am still anxious myself to go through with everything in the next few weeks, but I feel better that things seem to be falling into place. Thanks for all of your support and concern.
