Dear Peggy and Anne,

Thanks for the interceed tips. I went to the surgeon yesterday and scheduled my surgery for Sept. 14, which seems like and eternity. Currently he only uses seprafilm. Having a barrier inserted through laproscopy is not going to be possible now for me unless he switches to a laporotomy (sp) in the middle of surgery, which he said there is a good chance of happening. I wish that I could wait until next year when inteceed may be available through laproscopy, but I need relief now. I live in the Chicago area and am unaware of any clinical trials taking place here with adhesion barriers so a trial doesn't seem to be an option. Maybe Seprafilm will be the answer for me. I am trying not to set unrealistic expectations and still remain positive at the same time. What a job. Take care.
