Toni, I am so sorry that you are feeling so bad. I wish that I could help you. The only way I can is with support and you certainly have that. A pain cliic is suppose to be there for you when ever you need them, They should not be telling you that they are booked solid and they can not fit you in. When is your appointment with the surgeon? Is this a surgeon that your gyn is referring you to? Make sure that you check him out as far as credentials and ask around to see if any one knows of him. I am lucky, I have a sister in law that works for the insurance that we have and she can check on a Dr. for me when ever I ask. I don't have problems as far as diarria , I have some trouble with constipation. I really have to watch what I eat. I can't eat yogurt that really binds me up. I do have quite a bit of gas though and that is quite bothersome. I am frightened that this time I will have to be opened, The last 2 times he was able to do everything through the laporscope. I also had Interceed applied the last time and I feel as though it did nothing at all. I guess when he goes in he will be able to tell whether it helped or not. I did have a foriegn body reaction to the ineterceed. I ran a low grade fever for 28 days after the surgery and according to the packaging for interceed (Via the internet) It takes 28 days for the interceed to fully absorb into your system. I know my gyn was really concerned with that at the time.He was ready to send me to an internal medicine Dr. if the fever did not go away. But it did and he told me that having the fever for so long would not stop him from using it again if he thought that it had worked some.He feels that the fever was a healing process for me.It made for a very long month.I really felt rotten for that whole period and that is something that I am definetly not looking forward to, let alone just having the surgery, But I have to tell myself that this is it. This will be the surgery that is going to help me.I have to go in with a positive attitude. Although it is a little diffacult to have a positive attitude I have to.Well I hope you are feeling a little better today. The weather up here in the Northeast is suppose to be in the 6o's today so I will enjoy it. I don't like the cold and snow much. But this is where both my husband and I grew up and our families are here.We dream about the day when we can retire and live half the time in Florida and half the time here.maybe someday! Well I have to go but will talk to you soon. Toni try to keep your chin up. I know it is hard but remember that we are all here for you. Peggy
