Peggy,

I want to thank you for your words of appreciation for the information which I have shared with you and others at this forum.

Distraction is a psychological skill which, I just happened to discover, helps me to maintain my saniety by decreasing my level of pain. This exemplifies the Body-Mind connection.

By sharing information with you and others, this helps me to be in contact with all of you good people who understand what chronic pain is all about. This helps me to maintain my self-esteem at the same time.

You give so much of yourself to be encouraging to everyone else; now I want to encourage you to be positive about your surgery tomorrow and I hope that your surgery will have a positive result for you. Best wishes for a complete recovery!!

Helen
