Jaynie, I have had nerve blocks done in the abdomen now for one year. I have had a total of 11 blocks. I could tell that they worked for the first 8 or so, but they stopped working as effectively, and my insurance would not pay for them any longer. The doctor who did this for me is Dr. Jeff Rodgers at Grandview Hospital in Dayton Ohio. I don't have a number for you, but it is listed in the Chronic Pain Control Clinic of Dayton. Dr. Rodgers and I have a great working relationship, and he would ( I'm sure) be willing to talk to whomever to explain how he did the abdomen injections. I can go back for more now, but am waiting a little longer. I don't want to cause the insurance people to have any reason to balk at paying for treatments. You know how that is. Good luck. If you need more info, let me know.
