Can you tell me/us the reasoning behind your decision to see Dr. Presthus? Bev made some very good points - regardless of which doctor you see. Be as prepared as you can be!! Copies of your medical and surgical records are true accounts of your medical history; and could prove to be very helpful for both Dr. Presthus and the doctor at the Mayo Clinic.
Without copies of your records, you will feel pressured to try to remember just exactly what you need to tell the doctor(s) about your painful condition. If you won't have copies of your medical history to bring to your appointment, be sure to briefly write an account of the surgeries you have had; and make a list of questions you would like to ask him. You said that you were taking Paxil. I also read that you were taking Celebrex at one time. Are you still taking this medication?
Are you planning to keep your appointment at the Mayo Clinic this Friday too?
