Re: Rotten Doctors

Dear Cindy:

I am sitting here reading your message and getting very angry. I can't believe the baloney you have been through with these inept doctors. They border on criminal. Actually the one who made sexual comments should be reported. I hope you are lucky enough to find an intelligent and caring doctor. It sounds like the last one you saw is at least willing to listen to you.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hope that you don't have to be rushed into surgery.

Take Care, Kathy L.

I was hoping to wait til January, in order to have more vacation time from work (money too - lol). But my new PCP says that I have a partial bowel obstruction & it might not be able to wait. I have been on meds to induce diarrhea for a week now, with no results. My adhesions always attach my sigmoid colon to my inner abdominal wall, although, this is the first time it has caused an obstruction, as I usually have surgery before then. It has been hurting me & causing me problems for a year now. I had an adhesiolysis 3 years ago. Seems like every 3 years I have been doing this.

Hi Everyone. Hope you are all doing well today. Verna, God must have been working here, I just found Dr. Cook's internet site 2 nights ago. Ladies, you might all want to take a look at it when you get a chance. He has a 3 part section on adhesions, under the ask Dr. Cook archives. Very informative. Here is the URL: http://www.pelvicpain.com . Actually, I was surprised that no one had tried him. Wouldn't it be wonderful if he ended up being an excellent adhesions surgeon like Dr.'d Reich, Redan & Korell? Wouldn't it be great if our insurance actually paid for him to do the surgery? Oh well, a girl can dream right? lol

I still have not had a bowel movement. I have been taking these meds for a week today. It is getting very uncomfortable! I guess I better call the doctor today & ask him what he wants me to do.

Nanc, sorry you are hurting so bad. PLEASE go to the pain web site & find a doctor in your area.

Love,

--
Cindy
